Fast Fashion

Fast fashion can be defined as cheap, trendy clothing, that samples ideas from the catwalk or celebrity culture and turns them into garments in high street stores at breakneck speed. There is extremely short turnaround from design to manufacture to distribution, resulting in a vicious neverending cycle of 'in trend' and 'out of trend'. Most often clothing like this is manufactured with poor materials, in sweatshops with little thought to environmental effects.
